Ms. Helen Duane is a Licensed Clinical
Social Worker, specializing in Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy and Stress Management. Ms. Duane is an experienced
psychotherapist and has received comprehensive training in psychodynamic treatment
as well as behavioral and dialectical behavioral therapies.
She offers individual and group
psychotherapy services. Ms. Duane utilizes mindfulness based therapy for a wide
variety of physical and emotional conditions including; but not limited to
anxiety and panic disorders, cancer, chronic pain, chronic disease, and stress.
Ms. Duane is a Certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapist, Certified
Non-Violent Physical Crisis Intervention Instructor and Certified Expert of
Social Work and Domestic Violence.
Ms. Duane received her Bachelor of
Science Degree with honors in Applied Psychology and her Masters Degree with
honors in Social Work from New York University.
Ms. Duane has group counseling sessions
designated for stress reduction, and a cognitive behavioral therapy group for
patients struggling with obesity.
