There are many ways you can help: The Pauline Bryan Society (PBS), our annual giving club, represents individuals, PMC employees, civic clubs and businesses making gifts at a minimum of $100 per year. The society is named in honor of Pauline Bryan who served as the first chairman of the Parrish Medical Center Board of Directors for almost a quarter century. This giving circle was first established in 1987 and re-introduced to the community in 2005. Because of Mrs. Bryan's special interest in gardening, we have selected a special theme for the PBS and its four levels, from $100 to $1000. The Circle of Life Society is an elite representation of community members who have pledged $10,000 or more to Parrish Medical Center and community healthcare excellence. These pledges are payable at one time or over a period of years, usually three to four years. The Legacy Society recognizes future gifts needed to ensure a continuing source of funds to meet tomorrow's challenge of providing quality healthcare. Planned giving donors designate the Jess Parrish Medical Foundation in their estate plans. Donors can use planned giving during their lifetime or through their estate and can direct the use of funds. Remembrance and Honor Gifts - Contributions may be made to offer sympathy at a loss of a special person or gifts may be made to commemorate special events such as birthdays, anniversaries or the birth of a new child. Honor gifts are also the perfect way to show appreciation to a hospital staff member, volunteer or doctor who gave extra special care during the donor's stay or visit. Good Search.com A new search engine called GoodSearch.com (powered by Yahoo!) donates 50 percent of its revenue to the schools and charities its users designate. The other 50 percent is used to manage the day-to-day activities at GoodSearch.com. It is estimated that each search will earn approximately one penny for the designated organization. Thus, a charity with 1,000 supporters searching twice a day would receive an estimated $7,300 per year. For more information on GoodSearch.com, visit http://www.goodsearch.com/About.aspx#faq |
