Organ & Tissue Donation

One organ, tissue, and marrow donor can potentially help save the lives or restore good health to several people. The shortage of donors is so severe that many people every day die as they wait for organs that could save their lives.

You can indicate your intent to be a donor by signing and carrying a donor card, having "organ donor" imprinted on your driver's license or official identification card, or expressing your intent to donate through an Advance Directive (living will). By saying yes to tissue donation, you are making an incredible decision that will positively impact the lives of several people whose lives will be saved.

Southeast Tissue Alliance
Give the gift of a better tomorrow. The Southeast Tissue Alliance helps connect the gifts of generous donor families with recipients, whose lives are improved or even saved through tissue recovery, research and education.

TransLife Organ, Tissue and Transplant Services is a non-profit, community service organization dedicated to recovering organs and tissue for transplantation. TransLife provides a quality renal transplant program for Central Floridians, and educates the community about the value of organ donation as well as TransLife's role in these life saving efforts.
