Time commitment
New volunteers are requested to make a commitment to serve one hundred hours. Most volunteers work one four-hour shift each week. Some give more. Schedules are arranged to suit your availability.

Vacations and Absences
We understand as a volunteer you have many other commitments and we are able to accommodate shift changes and absences due to illness or travel plans.

Getting started
Prior to starting as a Parrish Medical Center Adult Volunteer, the following process must be completed.

1. Application and Criminal Background Forms Completed	Please call 321-268-6362, or you may download and print a PDF application. Please print, fill out, sign and return these documents to: Membership Chairman Parrish Medical Center Auxiliary 951 North Washington Avenue Titusville, FL 32796   Adobe Acrobat required.
2. Personal Interview	After we receive your application you will be contacted for an interview or you may call us to schedule an appointment.
3. General Health Screening	Our employee health nurse screens volunteers by the following: Health questionnaire Tuberculosis screening (required)
