2008/2007
- PMC earned three more disease-specific certifications from The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations, bringing its total number of disease specific certifications (DSCs) to seven - one of only two in Florida to have seven or more certifications, and one of only seven in the United States.
- The Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations awarded its Gold Seal of Approval™ for healthcare quality in the following areas breast cancer, acute coronary syndrome and palliative (comfort) care. And as of this announcement:
- PMC is one of only two in the nation to earn the Breast Cancer certification and the only one in Florida.
- PMC is the first in Florida to earn Acute Coronary Syndrome certification, and one of only seven in the United States.
- PMC is the first and only hospital in the United States to earn Palliative Care (Comfort Care) new certification.
- PMC is already Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations certified as a Primary Stroke Center and holds gold seal certifications in Heart Failure (one of four in Florida); Diabetes (one of eighteen in the United States), and Wound Management (one of seven in the nation).
- PMC named America's #1 Healing Hospital three consecutive years by the Baptist Healing Trust, Nashville, Tennessee.
- PMC earned state approval to perform emergent angioplasty.
- PMC became global healthcare model for Sodexho Alliance, a Fortune Global 500 company that serves 310,000 clients and employs more than 330,000 people worldwide.
- PMC announced expansion of its cardiovascular services wing.
- PMC opened Parrish Healthcare Center at Port St. John, the state's first eco-friendly LEED Sliver certified outpatient facility, featuring an all-digital diagnostic environment.
- PMC announced an exclusive partnership with Radio Disney AM 990.
- PMC received the United Way Chairman's Award.
- PMC earned accreditation with commendation from the Commission on Cancer for its comprehensive community cancer program.

2006
- PMC earned Modern Healthcare's 2006 Spirit of Excellence Award for Service award. This award recognizes excellence in service and patient and resident satisfaction.
- PMC was named Business Partner of the Year by the Brevard Schools Foundation and Brevard Public Schools by two local high schools–Titusville High School and Astronaut High School.
- PMC was accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), joining approximately 1,800 similar accredited facilities across the United States and abroad.
- Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations awards PMC with full hospital accreditation, the highest level of accreditation under the new Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations survey process.

2005
- Discovery Award (2005) - Healthcare Design Magazine and Starizon, a forward thinking organization devoted to advocating exceptional customer experiences for numerous industries, selected Parrish Medical Center as the very first Discovery Award recipient.
- PMC one of only three hospitals in the nation selected to work with the Baptist Healing Hospital Trust. The Trust works only with select hospitals that have demonstrated success and commitment to healing healthcare in America (2005).
- PMC partners with international service giant Sodexho to develop the "Sodexho/PMC Patient Experience Initiative." The goal is to create a program that can be adopted by hospitals around the world to create one-of-a-kind, exceptional patient experiences (2005).
- PMC among first few select Florida providers to participate with H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in a groundbreaking clinical trial that will involve micro-array analysis of tissue samples from patients with colon cancer (2005).
