Help a friend
If you have a friend who may be suffering abuse:

Let her know you care and want to help.
Don't get upset at her reaction.
Help her create a safety plan.
Tell her the abuse is not her fault.
Don't tell her what to do, when to leave or that she must stay in the relationship.
Don't confront the abuser.
