Early Detection Services

It is tempting to shrug off symptoms, avoid the doctor, or go about your day unaware that you have a medical condition. But experience tells us that early detection is the first and often the most crucial step in treating an illness.

That’s why Parrish Medical Center offers health assessments and uses leading-edge health diagnostics technology to detect illness and disease at the earliest stage — when it is most treatable.

Through our unique Direct Access Lab Testing service, you have access to some of the newest blood tests and screenings available today. That’s a big advantage for early detection and, ultimately, for your health. In addition, we offer all routine blood tests. No doctor’s order needed.

We believe in empowering our patients through knowledge and support. When you know your risks for developing certain illnesses, you can take action for your health. Through our HealthAware risk assessments, we offer a full suite of online tests that let you evaluate your health in six areas:

Each assessment takes just seven minutes, and those seven minutes could change your life. By answering a series of confidential questions from the comfort of your home computer, you can quickly gauge your risks. You will receive a score of low, medium, high or critical in each area, based on questions about your age, family history and lifestyle.

Through our Know Your Score campaign, Parrish Medical Center encourages the community members we serve to understand your current health status. You’ll be empowered to make healthier decisions, reduce your risks for conditions like heart disease and stroke, and increase your quality of life.

If your score is low, it can indicate you are on the right track and offer you peace of mind. And if your score is high, we give you the option to schedule a free consultation with a Parrish Medical Center health advisor. Advisors are trained to help you review your results and develop an action plan. Do it now, because nothing is more valuable than your health.
