Thanks to its regional outreach effort, Mayo Clinic in Florida is now extending its neurological expertise to remote areas of the state through a new telemedicine pilot program. With the help of a special, remote controlled robot, Mayo Clinic neurologists and interventionalists can now treat patients who are not on the premises but are actually many miles away.
